All of my mosaic designs grow organically from the materials used. Working with reclaimed and up-cycled materials means that there is already a story in the pieces that I am using, and the designs emerge to fit into this.
For custom pieces I work from themes, colour palates, and moods suggested by the intended owner to fit their decor or the story they want to tell. All mosaics come ready to mount with appropriate hanging mechanism securely attached. |
Reclaimed Window Glass Mosaics
Vintage window frames are salvaged and stripped to allow the natural wood grain to peek through. Various colors of glass tiles and glass beads are selected, cut, and arranged in a design on the windowpane. These pieces are glued then fully grouted.

Wood Mounted Mixed Media Mosaics
Created from cut glass, ceramic pieces, mirrors, and glass beads. Custom designs can incorporate shells, various other found objects and even small mementos. Pieces are selected, cut, and arranged in a design on a stained wooden base board. The pieces are glued down then grouted.

Sun-Catcher Mosaics
Created on up-cycled wooden picture frames, these smaller sized sun-catchers are made from colourful cut glass pieces and beads and left un-grouted to allow the sunlight to reflect the colour patterns.
